Custom Solutions

If it doesn't exist yet,
I'll build it.

Off-the-shelf software doesn't know how your business works. I build custom apps, automation workflows, and AI tools that fit your actual processes, not the other way around.

What I Build

Not templates. Not plugins. Custom.

Web Applications

Full SaaS products, internal tools, client portals, and dashboards, built from scratch for your specific use case.

Workflow Automation

Connect the systems you already use. Sync data between your POS, CRM, email, and accounting, automatically.

AI Tools

Document processing, content generation, intelligent assistants, and AI receptionists, built for your domain, not generic.

Something New

Got an idea for a tool that doesn't exist? A process that should be automated? Tell me what's not working and I'll tell you what's possible.

How It Works

How does a custom solution project work?

Every custom project starts with a conversation. I scope it, quote it, build it, and either hand it over or manage it ongoing. Custom solutions start from $3,000 AUD, project-scoped.

01

You tell me what's broken

Describe the process that's manual, slow, or held together with spreadsheets. I don't need a spec. I need to understand the problem.

02

I scope and quote it

I'll come back with what I'd build, how long it'll take, and what it'll cost. No surprises, no scope creep.

03

I build it

You get regular updates. I handle the tech, the hosting, and the deployment. You test it with real work as we go.

04

It's yours, or I run it for you

Want to take the reins? I hand over everything and train you. Prefer hands-off? I manage it ongoing. Your call.

Tech Stack

Tools I use to build your tools.

Websites & Frontend

Eleventy (11ty)

Static sites that load fast, rank well, and cost nothing to host. Zero JavaScript bloat.

React

Interactive web applications, dashboards, and SaaS products with real-time features.

Tailwind CSS

Clean, responsive design that looks sharp on every device without custom CSS overhead.

Automation & Workflows

n8n

Self-hosted workflow automation connecting any system to any other. The backbone of every custom integration I build.

HighLevel / Thryvia

CRM, pipelines, SMS, email, and AI receptionist, configured for how your business actually operates.

Square POS

Point-of-sale integrations that sync orders, inventory, and customer data into your automation stack.

AI & Intelligence

Claude API

AI-powered document processing, content generation, and intelligent review at scale.

Voice AI

AI receptionists that answer calls, take messages, book jobs, and log everything to your CRM.

AI Assistants

Custom chatbots and AI tools trained on your business context, not generic off-the-shelf bots.

Infrastructure

Supabase

Database, auth, and real-time features for web applications, open source and scalable.

Vercel

Fast, reliable hosting with automatic deployments from Git. Every site I build ships here.

Python

Data processing, document manipulation, and backend scripts for heavy-lifting tasks.

Proof It Works

Real projects. Real businesses.

These aren't demos or mockups. They're running in production for real businesses right now.

WebMap

A self-serve briefing tool for web design agencies. Clients browse sites, annotate what they like, plan pages, and upload assets, then AI generates a complete design brief. No more chasing emails.

Custom Apparel Job Tracking

End-to-end automation for embroidery and DTF printing businesses. Square POS syncs to automated job pipelines via n8n, with SMS and email notifications at every stage, so customers know where their order is without calling. Paired with an AI receptionist so no call goes unanswered. The client ordering portal is the next thing I built on top of this system.

B2B Client Ordering Portal

Trade customers order their own uniforms from a private page, at their own agreed prices. Each order becomes a draft invoice in the supplier's existing Square account, and a job card in their workflow. The customer gets a text when it's ready. One system, a new portal per client.

Case Study

A client ordering portal for a business that used to hand-type every order.

Steers Co is a Wangaratta supplier of apparel, embroidery and DTF printing. Their trade customers used to send orders five ways: fax, email, a walk-in order sheet, hand-delivered paper, or verbally. I built them a private ordering portal, so each customer submits their own order once.

The problem

Orders arrived five ways: fax, email, a walk-in sheet, hand-delivered paper, or verbally. Every one got hand-typed at the counter, by staff who were also serving customers. One wrong size and Steers Co wore the cost. Frank D'Amico, the owner, put it plainly: “Nine size large shirts downstairs because the ordering is convoluted.”

What I built

A private ordering page for each trade account, on its own subdomain of steersco.com.au. The customer signs in, sees only their own products at their own agreed prices, and submits. That creates a draft invoice in the Square account Steers Co already runs. It flows straight into the job tracking they already had.

Why that matters

Order entry moved off the most expensive counter in the business and into the customer's own office. Whatever they type is what they pay for. Nobody transcribes the same order twice.

The part worth noticing

This isn't one portal. It's one system built to serve every trade account Steers Co adds. That's a point of difference for Frank, not just a fix for one account. He already has a working system to show the next client.

Because they're an existing company, all I'm doing is pitching them an easier way without having to cut my prices or compete with somebody else.

It'll shore up our customer base because they're attached to us with the system, which won't cost them anything, but it just makes their life easier.

FAQ

Common questions.

What kind of custom solutions do you build?

I build workflow automation, custom web apps, SaaS products, AI tools, system integrations, and client-facing portals. Anything that off-the-shelf software can't handle efficiently for your specific business.

How are custom solutions priced?

I scope each project individually and price it by deliverable, not by the hour. Most custom builds start from $3,000 AUD. Tell me what you need and I'll come back with a scoped quote.

What technology stack do you use for custom builds?

I choose the stack based on the problem. Common choices include React, Supabase, Vercel, and HighLevel for automation. For trade businesses, Thryvia (the all-in-one subscription package) covers call answering, quote follow-up, and job booking.

Can you integrate with tools I already use?

Yes. Common integrations include Jobber, ServiceM8, Xero, Square POS, Tradify, and any platform with a public API. If it has an API, I can connect it.

Can you build something that works with the systems I already have?

Yes. The strongest example is a client ordering portal I built for a uniform supplier. It didn't replace their point-of-sale or their job tracking system. It fed orders straight into the tools they already had, so nothing downstream had to change.

How long does a custom build take?

It depends on the scope. The client ordering portal on this page took about two weeks. That's signed proposal to a tested build running on production, matching what I quoted upfront. A simpler integration moves faster. A bigger system takes longer. Tell me what you need and I'll give you a real number, not a generic range.

Got a process that should be automated?

Tell me what's not working. I'll tell you what's possible, what it'd cost, and how long it'd take. No obligation.
