Who It's For

Businesses that already have a website — built on anything, by anyone — that isn't showing up when people search for what they do.

Works on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, custom builds — any platform.

The Problem

Your customers are searching. Are they finding you?

Most small business sites are invisible to Google not because the design is bad, but because the signals Google reads are missing. The code that tells Google what your business is, headings it can actually parse, answers written in the format AI tools pull from, clean indexing — none of it shows up to a human, all of it shows up to a search engine.

Invisible on Google

Someone Googles exactly what you do, in your area. Your competitor shows up. You don't. That's not bad luck — it's almost always a fixable problem on the site itself.

54%
of all clicks go to the top 3 organic results (Backlinko, 2023)

Missing from AI answers

ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews are recommending businesses to your customers right now. If your site isn't structured for them to read, you're not in the conversation.

47%
of Google searches now show an AI Overview (BrightEdge, 2025)

Built but unreadable

Your site looks fine to a human. But Google reads code, not pixels. No schema, generic title tags, busted heading order — it's all noise to a search engine. The fix is mechanical, not magical.

36%
of small business sites have no structured data at all (Ahrefs, 2024)
Why It's Changed

Why SEO is different now

Search engines used to rank pages. They now rank businesses they understand.

Google and the AI tools sitting on top of it (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) don't read your website the way a human does. They read the code Google reads to understand your site, your heading hierarchy, and direct-answer content. If those signals aren't there, your site is a beautiful sealed envelope — they can see it exists, but they can't tell what's inside.

The Search Visibility Fix is the mechanical work of opening that envelope. Once it's done, it's done — those signals stay in your site permanently.

How It Works

How does the Search Visibility Fix work?

The Search Visibility Fix runs in two phases at a fixed price of $1,500 + GST. First I audit what's broken. Then I fix it — including new pages and blog posts where they'll bring you jobs. No report-and-walk-away. The work ships.

01

What I check

I check where you're ranking, whether ChatGPT and Google AI mention you, what competitors are doing that you aren't, technical health, schema, page speed, and Search Console. You see exactly where the visibility is leaking before any work starts.

02

What I fix

Schema, title tags, headings, content rewrites, alt text, sitemap, indexing — all done on your existing site. Plus up to 8 new pages targeting the suburbs and services that bring you jobs, and 6 long-form blog posts published live. The work ships.

What I Check

Where the leaks are

Before any work starts, you see exactly where the visibility is leaking. Seven checks across rankings, AI presence, technical health, and Search Console.

Where you rank on Google

Where you show up now for your core services and your area — and where you don't.

Whether AI tools mention you

Whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews bring you up at all when someone asks for what you do.

What competitors are doing that you aren't

The on-site moves the businesses outranking you have made — and you haven't.

What Google sees vs what a human sees

Pulls your site apart the way a search engine reads it, not the way a customer browses it.

Whether Google understands your business

Whether the code that tells Google what your business is — name, location, services, reviews — is in place, or has to be guessed.

Page speed and how it loads on a phone

Where slow load times and dodgy mobile rendering are costing you rankings.

Search Console review

If you grant access — indexing errors, coverage issues, and missed opportunities sitting in your account.

What I Fix

Eleven things I fix and build on your site

Every change goes live on your existing site — including new pages and blog content. Not a list of recommendations for someone else to action.

The code that tells Google your business details (LocalBusiness schema)

Adds or fixes the markup that tells Google who you are, where you are, and when you're open.

The code that tells Google what services you offer (Service schema)

Adds the markup for each of your core services so Google can match you to the right searches.

FAQ markup on key pages

Adds the code that gets you eligible for Google's featured snippets and AI answer engines pulling quotes off your site.

Title tags and meta descriptions rewritten

Every page gets a unique, keyword-relevant title and description, written for humans first.

Heading structure cleaned up

Restructures h1 / h2 / h3 across the site so search engines can actually parse what each page is about.

Key pages rewritten in the format AI tools pull from

Reworks key pages so the direct answer comes first, supporting detail second — the format AI tools pull quotes from.

Up to 8 new pages targeting the suburbs and services that bring you jobs

Where the audit shows new pages will move rankings — suburb pages, service-area pages, pricing pages, supporting service pages, FAQ pages. Built using your site's existing design and template.

Up to 6 long-form blog posts written and published

Topical content that shows Google you actually know your trade. Researched, written, structured for AI answers, published live on your site.

Image alt text and file names sorted

Every image labelled properly so search engines can read them and so the site's accessible.

Sitemap and robots.txt cleaned up

Submits a clean updated sitemap and checks robots.txt isn't quietly blocking pages Google should be reading.

Search Console indexing fixes

Resolves coverage errors, soft 404s, and pages Google is refusing to index.

Deliverables

What you get

Every fix implemented on your live site

Not a report telling you what to do. The work ships.

Before / after snapshot

What your site looked like to Google before, what it looks like after, and what changed.

Plain-English summary

What I fixed and why it matters, without the SEO jargon.

Out-of-scope recommendations

Anything I spot that's outside this job — Google Business Profile work, content gaps, or whether a rebuild would serve you better long-term.

Out of Scope

What's not included

Honest about the edges. If you need any of these, I'll point you in the right direction — but they're not part of this job.

Ongoing SEO management or monthly reporting

Why:This is a one-time fix, not a retainer. Priced that way deliberately — no recurring bill, no lock-in.

Backlink building or off-site SEO

Why:Different discipline, different job. Most small businesses don't need it once the on-site work is right.

Google Business Profile changes

Why:I'll tell you exactly what to fix in your GBP, but you own that account and the changes are quick to do yourself.

Design changes or theme modifications

Why:I work within your existing site's design and templates. If the design itself is the problem, you're looking at a rebuild — and I'll tell you that honestly.

You've never seen your business mentioned in a ChatGPT or Google AI answer
Your competitors keep ranking above you and you don't know why
You've been told you need 'SEO' but don't want to sign up for a $500/month retainer
You want the technical and on-page work done once, properly, and then left alone
FAQ

Quick answers to the questions everyone asks.

What is the Search Visibility Fix?

A one-time, fixed-price job that lifts your existing website's search visibility. Full audit, every on-site SEO and schema fix, content reworked into the format AI tools pull from, plus up to 8 new pages targeting the suburbs and services that bring you jobs, and up to 6 long-form blog posts written and published. Works on any platform — WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, or anything else.

How much does the Search Visibility Fix cost?

$1,500 AUD + GST as a one-off. No retainer, no monthly fees, no lock-in. You pay once, I do the work, you keep the results.

Is this the same as ongoing SEO?

No. This is a one-time job that fixes the on-site groundwork and builds the SEO content depth your site has been missing. Ongoing SEO management, monthly reporting, and backlink building are deliberately not included. Most small businesses don't need a recurring SEO bill once the on-site work is done properly — and I'd rather price it honestly as a one-off than dress it up as a retainer.

Will this work if I have a WordPress / Squarespace / Wix site?

Yes. The Search Visibility Fix works on any platform. I work directly inside your existing site — whatever it's built on — so you keep your platform, your design, and your existing content. New pages and blog posts use your site's existing design and templates, so everything stays visually consistent.

What if I need more than 8 pages or 6 blog posts?

If the audit shows your site genuinely needs more, we'll talk. Up to 8 new pages and 6 blog posts is the included scope — enough to make a meaningful dent for the vast majority of small business sites. If your situation needs more, I'll quote the additional work transparently rather than try to squeeze it in.

Can you guarantee my rankings will improve?

No, and I'd be sceptical of anyone who does. What I can guarantee is that every on-site signal Google and AI tools actually use will be in place, and that your site will have substantially more topical depth than it does today. Rankings depend on competition, your industry, and factors outside the website itself (reviews, backlinks, brand strength) — but the on-site work is the prerequisite. Without it, nothing else compounds.

Do I need this if I'm getting a new HCD website?

No. Every new HCD website ships with the same on-page SEO, AI-answer, and schema groundwork baked in from day one — that's what the Search Visibility Fix brings to sites built elsewhere. If you're getting a new site built by HCD, you don't need this on top.

How long does the Search Visibility Fix take?

2–3 weeks from kickoff to handover. Audit first (3–5 days), then implementation, page builds, and blog content rolling out across the next 1.5–2 weeks, then a before/after walkthrough.

What about my Google Business Profile, reviews, and backlinks?

Out of scope on purpose. I'll tell you exactly what to fix in your GBP and what review velocity to aim for — but you own that account and the work is fast to do yourself. Backlinks are a separate discipline and most small businesses don't need them once the on-site work is right. The Fix focuses on what I can fully control and ship.

What if my site is built so badly that fixes won't help?

I'll tell you honestly during the audit. If the design or platform is the actual problem and a Fix would just be lipstick, you're better off with a new HCD website ($1,750 + GST) — same on-page groundwork, baked in from day one. I'd rather lose the Fix sale than take your money on work that won't move the needle.

Got a question I haven't answered? Tell me about your business — I'll come back personally.

Fix the existing site, or build a new one?

Site looks fine, just not showing up? → Search Visibility Fix. Site is dated, slow, or embarrassing? → New build ($1,750 + GST — might be cheaper than you think, and the same Google groundwork ships with it from day one). Not sure? Tell me about your business and I'll tell you straight.
