I started out in mechanical engineering — which is a fancy way of saying I like understanding how systems work and fixing the ones that don't. That mindset carried straight into what I do now: helping small businesses sort out their digital setup.

Over the last decade I've built websites, written copy, run SEO, mentored business owners, and generally been the person people call when they know they need 'something digital' but aren't sure what.

I built Thryvia because I kept seeing the same problem with tradies and service businesses: they were losing jobs because they couldn't answer the phone while they were working, or because quotes were sitting in a spreadsheet with no follow-up.
